I decided to apply as a volunteer as I’m looking to spend my free time surrounded by art and creative people. I’d love to help out during exhibitions (installation and dismantling), workshops, events and as artist support.
I really enjoy the direction Clublokaal has taken in the last few years (compared to the former Club Solo). I’m myself a visual artist who is also looking into sustainability and ecology in her own practice.
I’ll soon graduate from Fabricademy, and I have a part-time job in retail, which is not sparking my curiosity and creativity. That’s why I’d love to help out in an artistic and collective space like Clublokaal!
Lastly, it would also be a great way to practice my Dutch in an art environment! I speak fluent English, and my mother tongue is Italian.
